El Facilitator: Trump Goes Mano e Mano with SCOTUS over Salvadoran Immigrant
Wheels up! Round and round we go! Where “The Maryland Man…from El Salvador” lands, no one knows. Not yet anyway.
Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran immigrant who lived in Maryland for about 15 years, was deported to El Salvador on March 15, 2025, despite a 2019 court order prohibiting his removal due to safety concerns. Here’s what you need to know.
- The U.S. government has acknowledged this as an “administrative error.”
- Abrego Garcia, married to a U.S. citizen and father of three, was detained by ICE while driving home with his son.
- The SCOTUS unanimously ruled on April 10, 2025, that the Trump administration must “facilitate” Abrego Garcia’s return, affirming a lower court’s order while noting the judiciary should respect executive authority in foreign affairs.
- U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis has demanded daily updates on efforts to bring him back, expressing concern over the lack of transparency and due process.
- In a recent Oval Office meeting with Bukele and cabinet members, Trump politely deferred to the President of El Salvador. Bukele refused to return Abrego Garcia, stating his reluctance to release “terrorists.”
Now what? Trump has to “facilitate” the return…but can’t intervene or demand a sovereign nation to do anything. El Salvador can decide to play along or not. The Trump administration is resting on these positions and hoping they suffice.
- This constitutes foreign relations and is outside the SCOTUS purview.
- The prior protective order should be vacated because MS-13 has been ruled a terrorist organization, therefore Abrego Garcia is afforded no protected status.
- The CBP One App program was illegal to begin with. BECAUSE IT WAS.
America today rests in this tension–the constitution was IGNORED to allow mass illegal immigration but is now being used to keep those illegal immigrants in the country. You know who else refuses to play by the rules but then insists everyone else does…but only when it favors them? Toddlers. And the mob. Don’t dare come at me with “But the code!! And the law!!!…” when you have operated in deception and corruption for decades to defraud and deplete an entire nation. I’m not saying this to excuse impropriety on the right, simply to explain why I REFUSE to be guilted into compliance, not with THE LAW but with THEIR WAY.
If you run a nation like gangsters, you can hardly be surprised when rival gangs form.
And as anyone familiar with gangsters knows, there is always collateral damage.
It’s unfortunate and should be corrected when it can–but in the words of Homeland Exper, Paul Blart, “We didn’t choose security, security chose us!” Specifically, the left chose this for everyone when they chose “dangerous and insane” as our way of life.

Both sides could do better here. If Abrego Garcia is the bad hombre or MS-13 gang member you declare him to be, offer the proof. Just saying something is so a bunch of times is not the same as airing the documentation, pictures, agency intel etc.

As for the left, this is all bad water from their poisonous well. They are compounding the chance for strays and innocents to be caught up by refusing to cooperate and sabotaging efforts by ICE.
And lest any forget, THEY DID THIS.
