Kamala Picks a VP…and He is a GIFT!

Let the fawning and flushing begin as mainstream media and the democratic party machine pretends yet another flub is a heartthrob.

Kamala has selected Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate on the 2024 ticket.

And though he is not a looker or even easy to like, he is a gift! Y’all, in one lovely red package Kamala has given a gift to the radicals AND us normies! I honestly don’t know how she does it! She is amazing.

With Tim Walz, Kamala has signaled to her hard leftists…”I am with you. We are going in your direction. No matter what you hear me say in the next few months…my heart is waving every flag of the radicals.”

How can this be a gift to the right? Admittedly, this was not on our wish list…but nonetheless, it is a gift we needed. Kamala has given us the gift of transparency about her party and her motivations. Kamala has given us the gift of messaging…someone fire up the printers! Every single sign and piece of media should have the words “RADICAL LEFT” on them. Kamala has given the gift of clarity. With Tim Walz by her side, we now know which party and candidates we are running against. There is no pretending moderation now. The veil has been lifted.

Here are some of my favorite fun facts about Tim Walz.

Tim Walz coined the absolute fire label for the Trump Vance ticket. WEIRD. Ay-oh. Shots fired! Not weird!!! Tim Walz ruthlessly gave the traditional family values, economic common sense, and merit-based aspirations of JD Vance the moniker of mayhem for 2024… WEIRD. Like a 7th grader in PE class.

Why do I think that is so riotously funny? Seriously, it is the middle school teacher in me.

Weird is what you call someone when you can call them nothing else. Weird is what you say when you want others to dislike a likeable person but you have no wart or wickedness to point at.

It’s entirely subjective and vague. Think of all the things Walz couldn’t call JD. Dumb? Unaccomplished? Elite…out of touch…harmful, ineffective, a poor leader with bad ideas? Racist? Misogynist? A tyrant that drove his home state into the damn ground during COVID? He couldn’t make any of those fit. Just “weird.” I think it’s weird he chose a word he couldn’t define.

My other favorite Tim Walz quote?

“One person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.”

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! A gift has been given to us indeed. Not only did he say that, but the context makes this wordsmithery even better. The full comment was “Don’t ever shy away from our progressive values. One person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.” And it was said on the “White Dudes for Harris” fundraising call.

The party of equality is having white women and white dude only campaign calls. Why is that? Do you assume you have the black vote locked up? Do you think white people need to be talked to differently? I mean they brought a vulgar rapper and a phony southern accent to Atlanta but not to the “white women” call. Why?

And socialism…it’s essentially sharing cups of sugar, Sugar. Come on, Christians. Socialism reflects the church, reflects Jesus…is missional living…is compassionate and kind. While it takes without asking. While it dismantles the family and faith. It is oppression and persecution with a hug. Yeah right, just like Jesus. Friend, one person’s socialism…IS STILL SOCIALISM.

I don’t want to spoil too much before you get a chance to fully unwrap and realize the gift that Kamala gave us with Tim Walz. But just know if you haven’t found “communism” in the box, keep digging!

My favorite Tim Walz story, and there are more than a few from the “Summer of Love” in Minnesota, but I do have a favorite. And it would have to be the time Walz let a statue of Christopher Columbus be torn down and then erected a new statue of Nellie Stone Johnson at the State capitol…because you know, she was an “iconic civil rights activist and labor leader.” Never mind that she was a card-carrying communist for decades. Never mind that when Stone Johnson spoke at a Lenin Memorial Meeting, I kid you not, she acknowledged why she was being identified as DFL (Democratic Farmer Labor party) as opposed to Communist. “My association and philosophical beliefs with those parties, the belief within me was true, but my bottom line was always about jobs and education. I was getting a lot of questions and I wanted to get everybody off my back…that was basically it.”

So…not forced labor, killing, the decimation of entire nations, or the imprisonment of opposition. Those weren’t her reasons for leaving the communist party on paper. She just wanted people off her back…to quit asking tough questions.

I think we are about to see that same strategy used today. Mark my words. Kamala trends communistish. She chose someone entirely compatible with her views as her second. They are running as Democrats because they want to avoid tough questions and want people off their backs, but their beliefs…in their hearts? You don’t erect a statue of a communist in your capitol by accident or ignorance.  The left is on a spectrum. Rebranded, upgraded…one person’s socialist is another person’s democratic socialist, is another person’s communist and they are all under the same crappy tent with vagrants loafing about in blue cities near you.
