Kamala Vows to Fix Border Wall She Broke…with Duct Tape

I’m not Silicon Valley rich or endowed with millions of followers for doing mindless things like trying on lipstick or clothes. Nope. We are your everyday average people. We are a single-income ministry household with kids in public schools, living our best life in Texas, America. So, when it comes to truly swaying or influencing an election there’s not a heck of a lot I can do for the cause. But I can do this–arm you with good information. I can track down, break down, boil down information, and give it to you on a silver platter, ready to be shared (or argued) with friends. And Democrats.

Between now and November, you’re going to hear this as a defense when KaHa is asked about her utter incompetence as Border Czar. “Donald Trump killed the bipartisan senate border bill so he could keep it as an election issue.” Horse hockey. Whenever someone brings up the big, bad, border bill we missed out on, here is your first and immediate response.

When was that border bill written?

The Border Bill of 2024…was in 2024.

Three years and 1 month into Biden’s four-year term. For three full years, our border remained open and welcoming to mostly single men and significantly fewer women and children, from over 100 different countries.

  • For three full years, a conservative estimate for the number of new immigrants arriving between January 2021 and October 2023 is 6.3 million, with some estimates as high as 8-9 million.
  • As of March 2024, the foreign-born population in the United States was 51.6 million, which is 15.6% of the total population. (The largest share on record.)
  • The foreign-born population increased by 6.6 million in the first 39 months of Biden’s term.
  • 11 million unauthorized migrants attempted to cross into the US between 2020-2024. That’s roughly equivalent to the population of North Carolina.
  • 2020-2023 saw record increases in immigration from India, China, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, and countries considered risks for terrorism.
  • In 2023 ALONE 169 individuals on the terror watchlist were apprehended attempting to enter illegally.
  • In 2023 ALONE 1.7 million known “gotaways” evaded apprehension.
  • In 2023 ALONE we saw an 86% increase in encounters at the southern border FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR.
  • IN 2023 ALONE CBP arrested 35,433 aliens with criminal convictions or outstanding warrants, including 598 known gang members and 178 known MS-13 members.
  • In 2023 ALONE CBP seized 27, 293 pounds of fentanyl, enough to kill 6 BILLION people.

And then a “Bipartisan Border Bill” was presented in February of 2024. Aren’t we lucky? When this stunner of a bill came out, Hugh Hewitt had this to say.

Salty Citizen Patriotic Apparel

“Bottom line: it will not pass. So don’t make the Senate GOP vote on it. It is deeply flawed for many reasons. Taking it forward is a waste of time and will harm the GOP as an election issue.”

Well, that doesn’t sound great.

What was in that border bill?

  • A much faster process for asylum claims.
  • Immediate work permits for migrants.
  • Right to legal representation for all illegal immigrants for their proceedings (Hmmm…these don’t really seem like deterrents.)
  • The border never closes and all claims are funneled to land-ports (That seems like it will create pockets of overwhelming congestion and huge swaths of unattended border…)
  • 5,000 encounters a day triggers “emergency authority” to shut down border…but it is optional and can be rejected. And doesn’t actually shut down the border. Excellent.
  • Less than 20% of spending in the border bill went to the border and the majority of those funds went to the aid of immigrants and asylum seekers.
  • The total bill was for $118 BILLION. Of that amount, $14.1 BILLION went to Israel, $6 BILLION went to US partners in the Pacific… and $60 BILLION to Ukraine (which was larger than the annual budget for the Marine Corp.)
  • $10 BILLION went to NGOs…the humanitarian groups occupying nameless hotels filled with migrants…similar to those that we now know aided in the October 7th attack in Israel…”humanitarian groups” that are essentially arms of political parties and are advancing their agenda with lots of money and little oversight. Because they’re charities and all.
  • $2.3 BILLION to sanctuary cities.
  • Nothing about deporting anyone.
  • Created a pathway to citizenship for over 60,000 poorly vetted Afghans who were brought to the US after Biden’s disastrous Afghan withdrawal.

And all of this while Biden refused to exercise executive authority AND REFUSED TO ENFORCE THE LAWS ALREADY IN PLACE. Here’s my question, why would I think this bill was anything other than just a way to get the money for Israel and Ukraine that had been denied prior?

Why would I have any confidence that the Biden administration would have enforced these new fancy laws when they weren’t enforcing the old, entirely functional laws?

Of course, that bill was dead on arrival. As it should have been.

I would make the public remember every single day until November that this bill was only presented and roundly rejected in 2024, after 3 full years of a mass invasion that included enough Chinese to create a standing army, enough criminals from prisons, gangs, and drugs to change America as we know it. When Democrat Chris Murphy, who helped author the bill, touted it to other Democrats the only push back he got was that it didn’t create an immediate path to citizenship for everyone. Everything else on their liberal wish list? Check and check.

They tried to fix the border with duct tape, and they got mad when the Senate pointed out that off-brand duct tape was inadequate, inefficient, and insulting.

And here they come with staples and paperclips. Not everything can be Macgyvered with twine and twig, Bubba. Sometimes it requires will power, fire power, and razor wire…like the kind Biden sued the state of Texas for using? The very same. Fence around or find out, mi amigos. There is a cost to having an open border. Just ask the citizens of Aurora, Colorado.

Our hope for America’s collective rebellion won’t arrive on Air Force 1 in January. But if we, His people, will humble ourselves and pray, and repent, then also vote, we will have done our reasonable service.
May God give grace to America.
    Thank you, Sara

Thank you, Sara! There are so many people that just don’t understand what our country is fighting. Praying God does give us grace.
