Turn Down for What? Why the Left Won’t Stop Dangerous Attacks on Trump
A second assassination attempt on Trump and very little has changed in the rhetoric used against him. Why is that? Why does the left feel they can ignore the consequences and continue to paint Trump as a “Hitler who must be stopped?” Because they must. They have no other choice.
What would their winning strategy be if not for “Trump bad?”
They can’t run on their record of successful implementation or execution of helpful policies because there has been no such thing (Abbey Gate in Afghanistan comes to mind, y’all heard of the southern border?). They can’t run on the effectiveness or efficiency of the government created on their watch because the government is neither. They can’t run on the generally positive feelings of the public because we do not feel generally positive. They can’t run on the overwhelming safety and stability the public feels in their care because…we have eyes and ears. They can’t run on the economy, productivity, the future…they can’t even run on Trump’s horrible record because it wasn’t horrible.
And they sure can’t run on Kamala Harris alone. To what could they pivot IF THEY WANTED TO?? Her competence and winning personality?
They have no choice. Turn it down for what?
Stop the dangerous rhetoric against Trump for what? It’s virtually the only strategy they can have.
Fomenting anger, demonizing, and leaving looming, pregnant statements of gloom or “rhetorical” pleas to the public just hanging in the air in hopes someone exactly like Ryan Routhe takes up the cause is really all they can do. But apparently, they are not leaving it up to only rando pro-Ukranian drifters. It was revealed yesterday that 4-5 known international teams are seeking to assassinate Trump. BUT IT WAS KNOWN BEFORE THE SECOND ATTEMPT. How did that not factor into the allocation of resources or motivate a bumped-up security detail??
Because truly protecting Trump would be adversarial to their purposes. They need him to remain vulnerable. They want him to remain vulnerable. Inaction is an action. We tend to overlook this on the left, but they are not children, they are responsible (though highly irresponsible) adults, and even their bad choices are in fact, choices. We have lived in essentially 12 years of “Oopsy-Daisy.” No accountability, no consequence, no prosecution…they light the world afire and have the gall to respond with a “New Way Forward!” and “Time to Do Something!”
Have you ever seen a party so corrupted and determined to win–but also so foolish in their methods?
If they truly thought Trump was the threat, they claim him to be, shouldn’t that have motivated a more sincere, and organized effort from the Democratic party? I mean if you thought you were running against Mussolini wouldn’t you have done some selfless and sacrificial soul-searching early on to ensure the very best candidate is put forth? But they didn’t. For some reason, they didn’t find that necessary. They were fine with Biden until that whole charade of “let’s pretend he’s fine” fell apart on national TV. They could have taken their licks and switched out Harris before the convention. But they didn’t. In fact, they doubled down with Walz, the only person loonier than Kamala. Why is that?
None of it makes any sense apart from “conspiracy theories,” like the left is a corrupt cabal, consolidated behind unnamed and unelected benefactors who are really running the country and have a singular purpose in destroying America.
Make it all make sense apart from that premise. Has anyone heard the Democrat’s response to why they have left the border open? What was the positive in their eyes? They have never really even been asked to justify their positions or show their work on decision making, have they?
On and on we go with no hard questions asked and no real answers given, it’s all smoke, mirrors, and scopes on rifles until November.
Friends–I’d hold onto my hat for the next 48 days. Trump on Gutfeld was helpful and Harris on Oprah was not. What will the left do if not even Oprah can salvage their candidate or campaign? We already know they are dangerous, desperate, and don’t value life…at all. What a great time to begin praying for our nation.
