Little Demon. Big Problem.

You can read exhaustive thoughts on Disney’s show Little Demon, but not here. I don’t have time for that, you shouldn’t have time for that, and it only requires about 3 minutes anyhow.

—Let’s begin with this… YOU DO NOT NEED ANYONE ELSE’S PERSPECTIVE TO KNOW HOW TO RESPOND. You do not even need your own, because unless it aligns with Scripture–is irrelevant.

—Here is the secular common-sense portion, which we should ALL be able to agree upon, based on what the show says about itself:

—Is it Satanic? Yep.

—Is it evil? Yep.

—Is it made for children? Nope.

 

—Here is the part that will be unique to Believers:

—Is it appropriate or good for adults? Also, No.

—Is it an effective tool by the Enemy to make light of evil, and reduce the realities of salvation, judgement, hell, holiness, and darkness to obnoxious immaturity and laugh lines? Obviously.

—Is this consistent with the material Disney is producing? Yep.

Is this good or wise for you or your family, or even the lost world around you?

Seems pretty easy to answer but in case there is question…

 

 

Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, instead expose them. Eph. 5:11

Abstain from every form of evil. 1 Thess 5:22

Abhor what is evil, hold fast to what is good. Romans 12:9

For your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, but I want you to BE WISE AS TO WHAT IS GOOD AND INNOCENT AS TO WHAT IS EVIL. Romans 16:19

I could go on… but why? It says what it says. God is clear on evil.

 

Satan isn’t an idiot. It’s by design that they can retreat behind “it’s just a cartoon… it’s not serious…” Okay? So? —Is it still evil? Yep.

You could illustrate with finger painting and have toddlers as the main characters… but the Antichrist is the hero?? STILL EVIL.

That has become the Devil’s favorite tactic right now, make wickedness appeal to young people… make young people appeal to wickedness. He’s a monster. This is where he shines.

 

Argue with your neighbors if it makes you feel better, sign a petition, make a post, etc… But none of that matters if not preceded by PERSONAL OBEDIENCE.

 

The tv show is abhorrent and dumb, but is not a huge problem. Unless you fail to address it.

—The bigger problem is: Why does the Body hesitate to judge evil quickly and unapologetically? Now THAT is a big deal.

Evil does what evil does. That has been the show playing since the Garden. The true danger is when Righteous does nothing in response.

 

There are ZERO FACTORS preventing you from being wise in your home today.

What is there to discuss or pray about? It actually is just that simple. God’s Word says it. You apply it. Period.

 

“I love that we are normalizing paganism…” says the shows leading actress.

Why can’t we normalize obvious and healthy boundaries and feeling just fine and dandy about rejecting what the Enemy produces for our demise? Just because they are making trash doesn’t mean I’m hauling into my house for myself and my family to roll around in. How’s that for adulting?

Why can’t we normalize adults ceasing to watch cartoons as though we are still children?

Why can’t we normalize talking about the Antichrist, end times, and the devil?? The secular world sure ain’t shying away from it, God’s people might as well speak the truth.
