Don’t Say Nothing About Nothing
You can’t say anything… you’re not from here.
You can’t say anything… you’re a man.
You can’t say anything… you’re a woman.
You can’t say anything… you’re the wrong color.
You can’t say anything… you’re no one.
You can’t say anything… you’re someone.
You can’t say anything… you are privileged.
You can’t say anything… you’re in the king’s corner.
You can’t say anything… you oppose the king.
You can’t say anything… you’re religious.
You can’t say anything… you’re not religious enough.
You can’t say anything… you’re not righteous.
You can’t say anything… you’re too righteous.
Yeah… this ☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻 is exactly how it works in Scripture. 🤔😉 (It’s not at all.) This is however, a fantastic way to render the Church mute.
God uses all the wrong people to do His work, to speak on His behalf. Think of all the things that disqualified Esther from objecting to Haman’s plans. Moses from confronting pharaoh… Specific people with a specific message, for specific people in time.
You can’t say something about anything unless you say something about everything… how would that have worked for JB in the desert? He definitely had a central message.
You can’t say anything… you helped a flawed and fallen man assume power. That’s awkward. For Samuel. And, the Lord.
You can’t say anything now… you didn’t say anything then… tell that to Paul.
Beware the pointing finger of the world that demands your silence. Beware the qualifiers, criteria and conditions arbitrarily made up to prevent you from common sense, clarity and wise judgement. Certainly, strive for consistency… but you are a vessel to be used how and when He sees fit.
Imperfect people, used in imperfect ways to point to the perfect Savior needed by all.
If you see it and it burdens you, it’s likely the Lord is showing it to you… because He expects you to say something or do something.
There is a difference in “it offends me” and “it offends the Spirit within me.” And, a different response for each is required.

The voice of your Father, doesn’t sound like “Who are you to speak…” it sounds more like “Do as I have commanded.”
